We love the beautiful messages of hope and the community support we've seen from around the world the last few months. One of favorite projects came from our Distributor @metamorfoza.paintedfurniture Barbara Hansen in Poland.
Barbara created a beautiful "urban" inspired mixed media canvas by combing Artisan Enhancement mediums, stencils, and paint. The art panel features our Anchor, Hope, Love, and Believe stencils. The textures and metallic were created by layering Gold and Silver Metallic Foil, Leaf & Foil Size, VP Antico, Fine Stone, Scumble, and paint.
When describing her piece, Barbara wrote "Hope is The Anchor of The Soul" this is my message on Urban Style COVID-19 affected Wall Art made during our Sunday two parts Life Video. Hope is stronger than fear, Love is stronger than fear. Faith is stronger than fear. Walls between our countries will fall one day. We will survive and come out of this horrible time stronger and better...just #StayHomeSaveLives yours and people you love. We closed our doors but our hearts are open." 💙

We've been revisiting some of our favorite techniques! This finish features a three color "chip" crackle distress. The crackle technique was created by applying multiple layers of Artisan Enhancements Easy Crackle and paint. The relief of our Gothic Clover stencil was created with Artisan Enhancements VP Antico plaster. After sealing with Clear Topcoat Sealer, antiquing wax was used to accentuate the paint texture and relief pattern.
