Delighted to share some of the final touches of Jim’s restyled home office! To complete the room makeover, Jim gave new life to an old wooden bookcase! He used paint, Crackle Tex, and a custom tinted Scumble Glaze to create a handsome and stunning rustic finish. We’re just loving all the details that add so much character to the space.

Continuing our series on Textures and Plasters, Jim @paintwithjim shares 3 basic techniques on how-to apply decorative plaster to a surface.

In this tutorial, Jim applies our VP Antico (Venetian Plaster) using 3 different techniques - trowel, roller, and stippling with a brush. These techniques can also be used to apply Fine Stone or Pearl Plaster! If you’re new to working with plasters or need a refresher, this tutorial is a great overview of simple plaster applications that can be used on walls and furniture.
