Artisan @forestlife3413 has been exploring the world of texture in art! 🎨This piece started as a chalk sketch on black canvas. Then VP Antico plaster was added to the work for depth. To bring the piece to life, paint was layered over the plaster texture. We can’t wait to try this technique!

From curbside to cozy chic. 💫Artisan @paintwithjim transformed the frame of this little bench with pewter metallic paint, a tinted Scumble Glaze, and Silver Metallic Foil. To protect the finish, he sealed the piece with our Clear Topcoat in a Gloss sheen.

Here is part two of our tinted VP Antico relief stencil wall décor!
Pulling inspiration from embroidered beaded pillows, we wanted to add muted colors, a slight touch of metallics, and a very light dry-brushing effect.
To control the opacity of our dry-brush effect, we added a small amount of acrylic matte finish paint to our Matte Clear Finish. This allowed us to create a subtle faux linen effect and seal the foil accents all in one layer. The entire piece received one final coat of Matte Clear Finish (with no paint added) for protection.

Relief stenciling, also known as embossed or raised stenciling, is a great way to create textured wall decor!
In this two-part tutorial we’re highlighting VP Antico tinted with Nature’s Wood Stain to create a sculptural stenciled art piece. Our VP Antico (Venetian Plaster) can be used untinted straight from the container or tinted with a variety of pigment sources.
For this project, we`ll also be using paint overlay and distressing. When tinted and distressed, the contrast of the plaster relief becomes more subdued, resulting in a softer effect.

Our final tinted Scumble technique is a fan favorite! Tinted Scumble with white paint is great for adding subtle highlights or achieving whitewash paint effects with more control.
